What is the Idaho Tax Foundation?
The Idaho Tax Foundation was formed in 1992 as a sister organization of the Associated Taxpayers of Idaho. The Foundation provides services related to educational research and analysis regarding Idaho tax issues. In its short life, the Foundation has provided valuable and important tax information to policy makers, government officials/advisers, businesses, Idaho taxpayers, and a variety of other interested parties.

Conduct SurveysOn multiple occasions, the Foundation has conducted surveys that poll the taxpayer's opinions on proposed legislation regarding taxes

About the Foundation
The Idaho Tax Foundation is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization. Contributions to the Foundation from businesses, estates, gifts, other foundations, and individuals are tax deductible under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Perhaps the most important benefit of the Foundation is the independent work it sets out to do to help educate Idaho's citizens about the tax system and state/local governmental programs. The activities of the organization are not designed to influence legislation or for political purpose.
